California general election · Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Read the record.
Not the name on it.
Kredulous shows you sourced records and positions from the two candidates in a race while their names, parties, and branding stay hidden. You agree, disagree, or skip. At the end, we reveal the candidates and show exactly how your responses aligned with each one, item by item, source by source.
Kredulous reports alignment. It never tells you who to vote for, and it never names an ideal candidate.
How a blind match works
01
Evaluate blind
One card at a time: a neutrally worded record or position with its issue area and source type. No names, no parties, no slogans.
02
Respond your way
Agree, disagree, or skip with buttons, keyboard, or swipe. Ask for more context on any card. Undo anytime.
03
See the reveal
Candidates are revealed only at the end, with a transparent breakdown: every response, every score impact, every source.

The trust layer
Sourced and traceable
Every card links to a source you can open. Positions taken from campaign materials are labeled candidate-stated positions, never facts.
Neutral wording, parallel structure
Cards describe concrete policy and records in the same sentence structure for both candidates. A loaded-language lint blocks slogans and approval adjectives before publish.
Representative coverage
Equal item counts per candidate and comparable issue coverage. We never suppress a sourced item or invent criticism to force symmetry. Where a candidate has no public position, we say so.
Private by default
No account needed. No live tallies on this page. Community results unlock only after you complete your own session, with clear caveats.
